NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland—Local BDPA™ Chapters across the National Capital Region attended HBCU Connect as BDPACON East ‘25 and regional coding competitions were underway to prepare teams for national competitions during BDPACON ’25.

A VIP Welcome Reception at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor brought together executives, recruiters, and professionals for high-level networking events and sidebar info-sessions with HBCU and BDPA Alumni during HBCU Connect.

Regional finalists from BDPA’s High School Computer Competition (HSCC) coding and I.T. Showcase programs from local BDPA™ Chapters will soon travel to Atlanta for 50th Anniversary events, career expo, and national coding competitions during BDPACON ‘25.

LORTON, Virginia — Northeast Regional finalists from BDPA’s High School Computer Competition (HSCC) coding and I.T. Showcase programs in the National Capital Region participate in BDPACON East ’25 activities. Established in Washington, D.C. 1986 by Dr. Jesse Bemley, HSCC continues to serve the Tech Industry as a launchpad for students to explore exciting careers in technology, develop and upskill coding skills, then gain exposure to real-world problem-solving with coaches and mentors from local sponsors. — photo ©2025 bdpatoday®
