FORT MEADE, MD—For nearly a decade, the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Information Assurance Directorate (IAD) has been focused upon weaknesses in industrial control systems (ICS) such as the (supervisory control and data acquisition) SCADA systems that underpin the country’s power grid.
